A difficult experience became our purpose
Before Lentz Labradors, we loved a chocolate Labrador who faced serious health challenges. His life included many veterinary visits, specialists, and multiple surgeries. That experience gave us a personal understanding of how deeply a dog’s health affects the whole family.
The Foundation
We began looking for a Labrador from a healthy, well-known bloodline, with parents who had passed the appropriate OFA testing. That search led us to Winnie and June, our two remarkable females—and to the purpose behind our program.
